The Swing Away Horizontal bed has been primarily designed for the smaller spaces in homes, micro-flats and multi-use accommodation. It can be fixed to a wall and floor with a no-frills approach or is more commonly used with a purpose built surround with either a curtain or a blind to the front. The nature of the SwingAway Horizontal makes it ideal for use in the box room, the loft, student flats and traditional cottages that have low ceilings. |
Integrated - The Hideaway bed is our top of the range integrated system which is designed to have a two-piece door (often 4/6 doors joined together). It has been designed so the doors are attached to the base of the bed and with the combination of the sub-frame allows an automatic leg to pivot, so the top doors form a footboard when the bed is pulled down. |
The SwingAway bed is one of our most popular and cost effective wall bed systems. It has been designed for the DIY enthusiast and therefore does not require a skilled person to install the bed, which is easily done by attaching it to the floor and wall. Once the bed has been installed, it can be used immediately. The SwingAway system has a counterbalanced sprung mechanism so working with the weight of the mattress it has a safe, light and easy finger touch action when lifting up and down. |
